God, being holy, cannot simply deny his holiness and “just forgive” any of us. His love is holy and so is his mercy. He is just and acts according to righteous judgement, not looking away or ignoring sin and evil, as an ineffectual or corrupt lawgiver. And yet, the Bible states that God indeed passes over our sins... How can he do this without forsaking his holiness?

I Danmark og i Skandinavien har man også flere steder oplevet en del fremgang i hyppigheden af kirkegang, særligt i kirker med konservativ bibelsk forkyndelse - med vægtlægning på arbejde med bibelen, et levende kristent fællesskab mm. Desuden er der en del vidnesbyrd fra unge - bl.a. på de sociale medier - hvor de fortæller om, hvordan de er begyndt at læse i Bibelen, og at Jesus har forvandlet deres liv.
Christians should care about the imagination because Jesus cared. Capturing people’s imagination with God’s truth was a substantial part of Christ’s earthly ministry, and so we should expect for it to be an essential part of Christian ministry today as well.
